If you spot Larry David in public, don't go pitching him your Curb Your Enthusiasm ideas. Or asking him for a selfie.

During an appearance on Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, the Curb creator explained how he gets out of unwanted pitches from strangers ("The Writers' Guild forbids me from hearing pitches from other people," is his go-to line) and how he attempts to dodge the dreaded selfie requests.

"You know what, I can't take pictures outside," is how David says he tries to evade it. "And then when I was inside, I would say to people, 'You know what, I can't take pictures inside.' [...] It started out OK, and then I sort of couldn't get through it without laughing."
