Amazon announced Thursday that it will host a new "Big Spring Sale" later this month — and, in a deviation from the retailer's flagship Prime Day sales, the deals won't be entirely exclusive to members of its paid Prime subscription service.

Here's a rundown of everything we know about the Big Spring Sale so far.

When is Amazon's Big Spring Sale?

The Big Spring Sale will officially run from Wednesday, March 20 at midnight PST through Monday, March 25, with new doorbusters dropping every day throughout the event, though dozens of early deals were already live at the time of writing. What is Amazon's Big Spring Sale?

The Big Spring Sale is an all-new savings event featuring deals that revolve around "seasonally relevant items," according to a post on Amazon's blog. That includes select sports and outdoor equipment, home products, and certain electronics. (Amazon devices like Kindles and Echo smart speakers will likely receive some of the biggest discounts.)

The Big Spring Sale isn't just another iteration of Prime Day, Amazon's biggest shopping event of the year, which gatekeeps its deals to Prime subscribers. But Amazon's announcement notes that members "will receive access to exciting, exclusive deals" as part of the sale.
