The 2022 Kindle is the perfect solution for reading on-the-go — after all, it's lightweight/portable (it weighs just 158 grams!) and has a battery life that lasts for weeks on end. In her Oct. 2023 review of this e-reader, reporter Mallory Minich praised this Kindle's brightness adjustment settings for reading at night and dedicated "night mode" that reduces eye strain. With its 300ppi resolution, you're sure to get crisp, easy-to-read text (or imagery, if your books have it) on the 2022 Kindle. The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (32 GB) was deemed "Best Kindle Overall" in our Best Kindles of 2023 roundup for a reason. Its 6.8-inch glare-free display with adjustable warm light is bound to keep you immersed in a books for hours. 32 gigs of storage space is also more than enough for even the most dedicated bookworms among us (it's perfect for loading up tons of regular books and audiobooks both). The Signature Edition Kindle is able to last up to 10 weeks on a single charge and can be charged wirelessly (though the wireless charger isn't included in this purchase). Color us impressed.

The Kindle Scribe is really the cream of the crop in the Kindle universe. That's because it doubles as a notebook: Allowing you to annotate the books you read by adding digital sticky notes, pen journal entries in a dedicated lined paper space, organize your thoughts with a "to-do" template, and so much more. Keep in mind that this is a bigger (and heavier) Kindle than its predecessors, which might mean wrist strain after holding it for too long. The Kindle Scribe comes with additional perks, like automatic rotating page orientation and the ability to import/export docs with ease. Our reviewer Alex Perry appreciated the fact that the Scribe's screen is so large ("especially for anyone with eyesight problems") and that its battery life is so mighty.
